Popular with children and adults alike, hiking, biking and running events are organised monthly. These are a great way to socialise with good people, make new friends, get away from the city, and enjoy the fresh air in the countryside.
There's plenty of exercise and conversation to go around, whether its chatting about how the last week has been, what's great (and maybe not so great) about living in Hungary, or what other events are corning up, like the Gift of the Gab and our chanty work.
Each event ends with some post-exercise reflection over a meal and a few drinks in one of the lovely family-run Hungarian restauranfs and pubs that dot the countryside: the perfect end to a great day out.
• Hike the surrounding hills of Budapest. Remember to bring your camera as autumn and spring provide fantastic opportunities for photography.
• Bike along the Danube to places like Szentendre and dangle your feet in the river's cool waters.
• Run in evenfs like the K&H half-marathon rearm races or the Budapest half and full marathons, and finish the race with a pint or two of Guinness. For those looking for more of a challenge, why not try street-running through the city or hill-running in the Buda hills.
